Privacy and contact data.

The short version

• The contact form emails your message to us through Brevo, an email delivery service. This website does not save it to a database or file.
• Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used and sets cookies to do so.
• The site has no advertising, remarketing, affiliate tracking, heatmaps, or session recording.
• The contact form does not accept file uploads.

What you send through the contact form

The standard contact form asks for:

• Your name and email address (required).
• Your company (optional).
• A message describing what you are trying to fix (required).

The Pipeline Rescue version of the form also asks for your pipeline stack, source system, destination, when the problem began, whether production is affected, whether read-only code or logs can be provided, and your preferred contact method. All of these are optional.

Along with what you type, the form sends the address of the page you submitted it from and the time you submitted it. Our server adds your browser's user-agent string, which describes your browser and operating system. The form also contains a hidden field that people never see, used to filter out automated spam.

Where contact messages go

When you submit the form, our server formats your submission as an email and sends it through Brevo to sales@itsmorethansoftware.com. The email's reply-to address is the email you entered, so we can answer you directly.

The website application does not keep its own copy of your submission. It is not written to a database or a file. The message exists as an email in our inbox, and Brevo processes it in order to deliver it. Brevo's handling is described in Brevo's privacy policy.

We use what you send to read your inquiry and reply to it. Submitting the form does not add you to a mailing list or newsletter.

Analytics

Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2XMM8NCV7L). Google collects standard usage information, such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location, and gives us aggregate reports about how the site is used. Google describes this in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The site also sends Google Analytics a small number of events of its own:

• One event when the server accepts an ordinary contact inquiry.
• Pipeline Rescue events: viewing the offer, clicking its buttons, starting the form, and submitting it.

These events carry fixed labels only, such as which form was used. They never include your name, email address, message, or anything else you type into the form.

The site does not currently ask for consent before loading Google Analytics. You can block it by blocking cookies or scripts in your browser, or with Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.

Cookies and browser storage

• _ga and _ga_2XMM8NCV7L: cookies set by Google Analytics on this domain to distinguish visitors and visits in analytics reports. They are set to expire after about 13 months.
• theme: a local storage entry set by this site to remember light or dark mode. It is saved only if you use the theme toggle, and it is never sent to our server.

Our own server does not set any cookies, and the site does not use session storage.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics (Google) receives the usage information and events described above.
• Brevo receives contact form submissions in order to deliver them to our inbox.

The site's fonts are served from this site, not loaded from a third party. The site does not include advertising, remarketing, affiliate, social media tracking, heatmap, or session-recording scripts.

Apart from the browser description included in contact emails, the website's application code does not store IP addresses or other request details.
